Jacob's Creek is one of Australia's most prominent wine brands, originating from the Barossa Valley in South Australia. The name traces back to William Jacob, who settled on the banks of a small creek in the 1840s. The first commercial vineyard was planted by Johann Gramp in 1847, founding Orlando Wines.

Today, Jacob's Creek is produced primarily in Australia and exported globally. Since 1989, the brand has been a flagship of the French spirits and wine giant Pernod Ricard. The brand is managed under their premium wine division, Pernod Ricard Winemakers, which ensures that while the wine remains rooted in Australian terroir, its distribution and corporate strategy are governed from France.
