Grundig is a historic brand name in the world of consumer electronics, originally established in Germany after World War II. It gained international fame for its high-quality radios, televisions, and audio equipment. Currently, while the product reflects its German engineering heritage, most consumer electronics under the Grundig brand are manufactured in hubs like China and Turkey to leverage global supply chains.

The brand underwent significant structural changes in the early 2000s. Since 2007, Grundig has been fully owned by Arçelik A.Ş., a major white goods and electronics manufacturer based in Turkey. Arçelik is part of the massive Koç Holding conglomerate. Under Turkish ownership, Grundig has transitioned from a traditional audio-visual brand into a full-range home electronics and appliance provider, maintaining a headquarters for its European operations in Germany to preserve its brand identity.
