Catelli Garden Select Tomato & Basil Sauce

Catelli is a storied Canadian brand with a history dating back to 1867 when Carlo Onorato Catelli began making pasta in Montreal. Over the decades, it became a household name across Canada, known for its extensive range of dry pasta and vegetable-rich pasta sauces like the Garden Select line shown here.

While the brand was originally independent and later owned by the Barilla Group and Ebro Foods, its pasta sauce business underwent a significant ownership change in 2021. The Catelli pasta sauce brand is now owned by TreeHouse Foods, Inc., an American multinational food processing company. Despite the US-based ownership of the parent company, Catelli products marketed in Canada continue to have a strong local manufacturing presence to serve the North American market.
