While high-end components and flagship devices are still heavily produced in South Korea, the company maintains massive manufacturing facilities in Vietnam (where a significant portion of its smartphones are made), India, China, and Brazil. This diversified production strategy allows the brand to maintain its position as a world leader in technology and consumer electronics.

The brand is owned and operated by the Samsung Group, a South Korean multinational conglomerate. As a chaebol, it remains a pillar of the South Korean economy and is headquartered in Samsung Town, Seoul. The group encompasses numerous subsidiaries, with Samsung Electronics being the most prominent global face of the brand.
