Over the decades, the brand's ownership shifted. It eventually became part of the Intersnack Group, a major European snack manufacturer headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany. Today, Chio products like Tortillas and Popcorn are primarily manufactured in Germany for the DACH region, though Intersnack operates various production facilities across Europe to support its broad distribution network.
