Hotel chocolate bar (Pols), also known as Hotel Schokolade

The 'Hotel' chocolate brand is a heritage confectionery product originating from Latvia. It was originally developed by the historic Latvian sweets manufacturer Uzvara, which was later integrated into the Laima chocolate production ecosystem. For decades, it has been a recognizable staple in Eastern European and Baltic markets, known for its distinct packaging and milk chocolate recipes.

Today, the brand is produced in Riga, Latvia, by the company Food Union (specifically under the Rigas Piena Kombinats or Pols product lines). Ownership has transitioned to the international investment firm PAG Private Equity, which acquired Food Union's European assets in early 2024. This acquisition places the brand under a global management structure while maintaining its traditional manufacturing base in Latvia.
