Läkerol is a classic Swedish brand of pastilles, originally founded in 1909 by Adolf Ahlgren in Gävle, Sweden. The brand quickly became an icon in Scandinavia, known for its small, round boxes and the signature 'A' logo. The 'Dents' sub-brand is specifically formulated as a sugar-free chewy pastille containing Xylitol to support dental health.

Today, Läkerol is owned by Cloetta, a leading Nordic confectionery company. While the brand has deep Swedish roots and was historically produced in Gävle, much of the modern production, including the Dents line, has been centralized to Cloetta's manufacturing facilities in Slovakia. Cloetta AB is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and serves as the ultimate parent company since its merger with Leaf in 2012.
