The Maribowl (or Mariskooli in Finnish) is a classic piece of tableware that represents a unique collaboration between two iconic Finnish design brands: Marimekko and Iittala. Originally introduced in the 1960s, the bowl's design is credited to Marimekko, though it has been manufactured by the specialty glassmakers at Iittala's factory in Finland for decades.
Today, the brand Iittala is a flagship label under the Fiskars Group. While Marimekko retains certain rights to the pattern and branding associated with the Maribowl, the physical production and global distribution are handled within the Fiskars infrastructure. These bowls are highly collectible and are primarily produced in the Iittala glass factory in Finland, maintaining the high standards of Nordic craftsmanship.
