In global terms, particularly in Europe and several other international regions, the brand is owned by Suntory Beverage & Food Ltd, a Japanese multinational. However, in the United States and Canada, the brand is owned by Keurig Dr Pepper, while The Coca-Cola Company owns the rights in several other territories including the United Kingdom (under license) and Oceania. For the Danish market, Schweppes is typically produced locally through bottling agreements, often by Carlsberg under license from Suntory.
