elmex gelée dental gel

elmex gelée is a specialized intensive fluoride gel used for dental caries prophylaxis and treatment of hypersensitive teeth. The brand elmex was originally developed in Switzerland in the early 1960s by the company GABA. It gained fame for being one of the first brands to incorporate organic amine fluorides for long-lasting tooth protection.

In 2004, the Swiss GABA Group was acquired by the American consumer goods giant Colgate-Palmolive. While the brand remains deeply rooted in European dental culture, its manufacturing and distribution have been integrated into Colgate-Palmolive's global supply chain. For the European market, a significant portion of production occurs at the company's large facility in Świdnica, Poland, which is one of the most advanced oral care factories in the world.
