Apotekarnes is one of Sweden's most historic and beloved beverage brands, famously known for its Julmust and Påskmust, which dominate the Swedish soft drink market during the holiday seasons. The brand was originally founded in 1874 by Stockholm pharmacists who joined forces to produce mineral water and soft drinks under the name Stockholms Apotekares Mineralvatten Aktiebolag.

Over the decades, the brand evolved from a pharmaceutical cooperative into a commercial powerhouse. Today, Apotekarnes is owned by Carlsberg Group, one of the world's leading brewery businesses. While the brand remains deeply rooted in Swedish tradition, its production is integrated into the large-scale international infrastructure of the Carlsberg company, primarily manufactured at their facilities in Falkenberg, Sweden.

Ownership transitioned through various mergers, eventually becoming part of Pripps before that company was acquired by the Danish giant Carlsberg.
