Freshly Cosmetics is a Spanish natural cosmetics brand founded in 2016 by three young chemical engineers in Reus, Tarragona. Historically an independent firm founded by Miquel Antolín, Mireia Trepat, and Joan Miralles, the company achieved significant international growth, expanding into multiple European markets. In late 2023 and early 2024, the brand underwent a major ownership shift when Unilever acquired a stake (and subsequently reached an agreement for full ownership) to integrate Freshly into its prestige beauty portfolio. Today, while maintaining its operations in Spain, it sits under the global umbrella of Unilever, benefiting from world-class distribution networks.
