Namysłów Pils beer

Namysłów Pils is a traditional Polish lager brewed by the Namysłów Brewery (Browar Namysłów), which is one of the oldest breweries in Poland with a history dating back to 1321. The beer is known for its distinctive taste resulting from "open fermentation" (otwarta fermentacja), a technique proudly mentioned on its packaging.

While the brand originated in the town of Namysłów, it has grown to become a national favorite in Poland. In 2019, the brewery was acquired by Grupa Żywiec, which is a major player in the Polish beer market. In turn, Grupa Żywiec is a subsidiary of the Dutch brewing giant Heineken N.V., which now oversees the production and distribution of this historic brand.
