Conimex Ketjap Manis

Conimex is a prominent Dutch brand synonymous with Asian-inspired cuisine in the Netherlands. Founded in 1932 by Mr. Schöne and Mr. van Zadelhoff in Baarn, the brand initially specialized in importing ingredients from Indonesia, which was then a Dutch colony. The Ketjap Manis shown is a classic sweet soy sauce, a staple in Indo-Dutch cooking.

Today, the brand is owned by the British multinational Unilever. While the brand’s identity is deeply rooted in Indonesian culinary traditions, production primarily occurs within the Netherlands to supply the European market. Unilever continues to expand the brand's portfolio, maintaining its position as a market leader in the Dutch Oriental food segment.
