HEMA Ovalamp bulb

The Ovalamp is a decorative light bulb product sold by HEMA, a prominent Dutch variety retailer. Founded in 1926 in Amsterdam, HEMA (Hollandsche Eenheidsprijzen Maatschappij Amsterdam) originally focused on providing standard-priced everyday items.

Today, HEMA designs almost all of its products in-house to ensure a unique aesthetic and functional value. While the brand is quintessentially Dutch, its manufacturing is distributed globally, primarily across Europe and Asia, to maintain competitive pricing. The brand is currently owned by the investment firm Parcom and Mississippi Ventures (the investment vehicle of the Van Eerd family), who acquired the company to ensure its long-term stability and growth within the European retail sector.
