Nokia 3720 classic

The Nokia 3720 classic, released in 2009, was marketed as Nokia's most rugged mobile phone at the time, featuring IP54 certification for water and dust resistance. This device represents the 'feature phone' era of the Finnish brand Nokia. During its production years, Nokia manufactured these devices across several European and Asian hubs, most notably in Hungary and Romania for the European market.

While Nokia was originally a Finnish industrial giant, the mobile device division has undergone significant changes in ownership. In 2014, Microsoft acquired Nokia's Devices and Services unit. However, by 2016, the rights to use the Nokia brand name on mobile phones were acquired by HMD Global, a Finnish company. Today, HMD Global acts as the exclusive licensee for Nokia-branded phones and tablets, while the original Nokia Corporation focuses on network infrastructure and technology licensing.
