Aberfeldy is a renowned Highland single malt Scotch whisky brand with a history dating back to 1898. The distillery was founded by John and Tommy Dewar, the sons of John Dewar, near the town of Aberfeldy in Perthshire, Scotland. It was specifically built to provide a high-quality malt whisky for the Dewar's Blended Scotch brand.

Today, the Aberfeldy distillery continues to operate in its original location, utilizing the waters of the Pitilie Burn, which is famous for its deposits of alluvial gold, leading to the whisky's nickname, 'The Golden Dram.' The production process remains traditionally Scottish, from malting to maturation. Since 1998, the brand has been under the ownership of Bacardi Limited, which acquired the Dewar's portfolio. This product, specific to the 'Wine Cask Series' finished in Bolgheri red wine casks, highlights the distillery's focus on innovative cask finishes while maintaining its Heritage.
