Mcennedy American Way

Mcennedy (often branded as Mcennedy American Way) is a private-label brand owned by the German discount supermarket giant Lidl. Designed to target the European market's interest in 'Americana,' the brand features a wide variety of snacks, frozen foods, and pantry staples styled after American cuisine. Typical products include peanut butter, pancake mixes, brownies, American-style pizzas, and various grilled meats.

Despite its heavy use of American iconography—such as the Statue of Liberty and the Stars and Stripes—the brand does not originate from the United States. It was created by Lidl to capitalize on 'American Weeks' in their stores across Europe. Because it is a private label with a vast range of products, manufacturing is decentralized. Most items are produced by various European suppliers, primarily in Germany and other EU countries, to serve Lidl's international logistics network.
