This technical breakthrough standardized N-scale, making it a globally recognized hobby format for collectors with limited space.

Over the decades, the brand underwent several ownership changes following financial challenges in the 1990s. It was eventually acquired by the Italian company Lima, which was later absorbed by the British multinational Hornby Hobbies.
