Croky is a classic Belgian snack brand that has been a staple in the Benelux region for decades. Founded in 1966 by the Huyghe family in Moeskroen, the brand was named after the family's pet parrot, which remains the cheerful mascot on the packaging today. Known for its thin, crispy texture and distinctive flavors like Bolognese and Pickles, Croky has maintained a strong local identity despite changes in corporate ownership over the years.
The chips are primarily manufactured in Belgium at the company's production facility in Mouscron. While the brand was formerly owned by United Biscuits, it returned to its Belgian roots when it was acquired by the Roger & Roger company. Today, Croky continues to be a family-owned entity under the stewardship of the Roger & Roger group, which specializes in the production of potato and corn snacks for both its own brands and private labels across Europe.
