Daim is a popular Swedish chocolate bar known for its crunchy almond butter toffee center coated in smooth milk chocolate. It was originally created by Marabou in Sweden in the early 1950s after the company received a list of ingredients for the American 'Heath' bar but decided to create their own unique version.
Today, Daim is produced primarily at the Marabou factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. The brand has achieved global recognition and is a staple in many markets, famously featured in various ice creams and IKEA food products. Since the early 1990s, the brand has been under the ownership of Mondelez International, which acquired the original parent company and continues to distribute the product worldwide.
