Daim confectionery

Daim is a popular Scandinavian chocolate bar characterized by its crunchy almond butter-toffee center and smooth milk chocolate coating. It was originally launched by the Swedish-Norwegian chocolate manufacturer Marabou in 1953. The brand was famously known as 'Dajm' in Scandinavia and 'Dime' in the United Kingdom and Ireland before the names were standardized to 'Daim' in the 1990s.

Today, Daim is produced primarily at the Marabou factory in Upplands Väsby, Sweden. Since the early 1990s, the brand has been part of the portfolio of Mondelēz International, which acquired the parent company Kraft General Foods (later Kraft Foods). Mondelēz remains the ultimate owner of the brand, continuing its legacy as a global chocolate staple found in specialty shops and IKEA outlets worldwide.
