Ontario Knife Company RAT II Linerlock folding knife

The Ontario RAT II is a compact folding knife designed in collaboration with Randall's Adventure & Training (RAT). While the Ontario Knife Company (OKC) is a historic American tool manufacturer originally based in New York, the RAT series is famous for its manufacturing in Taiwan to balance high-quality Aus-8 or D2 steel with affordability.

In 2023, the brand underwent a significant corporate change when Blue Ridge Knives, Inc. acquired the Ontario Knife Company from its previous parent, Servotronics, Inc. Following the acquisition, much of the traditional manufacturing in Franklinville, New York, was shuttered, but the brand name and its popular overseas-produced lines like the RAT series continue to be a staple in the EDC (Every Day Carry) market under the new ownership based in Virginia, USA.
