EKA (Eskilstuna Knivfabriks AB) is a historic Swedish brand known for its high-quality outdoor and pocket knives. Founded in 1882 in Eskilstuna, Sweden—a city with a long heritage of steel production—the brand has maintained a reputation for craftsmanship and durability. The Swede 8 model, shown here, is recognized for its robust lock-back mechanism and ergonomic design, frequently used by hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

While many cutlery brands have shifted production to Asia, EKA continues to pride itself on its Swedish roots. Most of their core folding and fixed blade knives are manufactured in Sweden, utilizing Sandvik steel, which is also of Swedish origin.
