Anthon Berg is one of the oldest and most prestigious chocolate brands in Denmark, famously recognized as a Purveyor to the Royal Danish Court. Founded in 1884 by a grocer named Anthon Berg in Copenhagen, the company built its reputation on high-quality marzipan and dark chocolates. It is particularly world-renowned for its signature 'Chocolate Liqueurs'—bottle-shaped dark chocolates filled with liquid spirits from major international brands.

While the brand maintains its deep Danish heritage, it is currently owned by the Toms Group, Denmark's largest confectionery manufacturer. Most of the production remains centered in Denmark, where the brand's tradition of combining premium cocoa with Nordic marzipan continues to be the hallmark of its luxury product line.
