CoolBest Fruit Juice

CoolBest is a premier Dutch brand specializing in chilled fruit juices. It was launched in 1995 by the beverage company Riedel and became the first brand in the Netherlands to offer juices exclusively in the refrigerated section of supermarkets. The brand is famous for its commitment to the cold chain, ensuring that juice is kept chilled from the moment of pressing until it reaches the consumer to preserve freshness and nutrients.

Historically, Riedel was part of the large Dutch dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina. However, in late 2017, FrieslandCampina sold Riedel to the Amsterdam-based private equity firm Standard Investment. Today, CoolBest remains an iconic brand within the Riedel portfolio, which also includes other household names like Appelsientje and DubbelFrisss.

The majority of CoolBest products are manufactured in the Netherlands at Riedel's production facility in Ede. While the fruit itself is sourced globally—such as oranges from Brazil and apples from Germany—the processing, blending, and packaging take place in their Dutch plant to ensure high quality and efficient distribution across the Benelux region.
