Loacker is a globally recognized confectionery brand, celebrated for its premium wafers and chocolate specialties. Founded in 1925 by Alfons Loacker, the brand originated as a small pastry shop in the historic center of Bolzano, Italy. Over a century, it has transitioned from a local artisanal bakery into an international industrial leader while maintaining its commitment to high-quality, natural ingredients and traditional recipes.
Today, Loacker operates two main production facilities located over 1,000 meters above sea level in the heart of the Alps: the original headquarters in Auna di Sotto (South Tyrol, Italy) and a secondary plant in Heinfels (East Tyrol, Austria). This high-altitude production is central to the brand's identity, utilizing fresh mountain water and pure Alpine air in the manufacturing process.
Loacker remains a fiercely independent family-owned business, currently managed by the third generation of the Loacker and Zuenelli families. The brand is available in over 100 countries, with significant market presence in Italy, North America, and the Middle East, continuing its legacy of 'pure goodness' without artificial flavorings or preservatives.
