Pastificio Garofalo is a historic pasta producer based in Gragnano, Italy, a location often referred to as the birthplace of dried pasta due to its ideal microclimate for air-drying. The company dates back to 1789 when it received a royal license for pasta production. Garofalo is renowned for its high-quality durum wheat semolina pasta and its IGP status (Indicazione Geografica Protetta), which guarantees that the product is made in Gragnano following traditional methods.

In 2014, the Spanish food giant Ebro Foods acquired a majority stake (52%) in the company, bringing it under its global umbrella while maintaining its traditional manufacturing base in Naples. Today, it remains one of the world's most recognized premium pasta brands, blending centuries-old Italian craftsmanship with the global distribution power of its Spanish parent company.
