Willemoes Belgisk Ale

Willemoes is a premium beer brand produced by Bryggeriet Vestfyen, based in Assens, Denmark. The brand is named after the Danish naval hero Peter Willemoes and was launched in 2004 as a high-end specialty line to compete in the craft beer market.

Today, the brand remains under the ownership of Bryggeriet Vestfyen, which had been independently owned for many years. However, in 2021, the majority of the shares in Bryggeriet Vestfyen were acquired by the luxury hotel and real estate group Aller Holding A/S. All production continues to take place at the original brewery facilities in Assens, keeping the brand rooted in its local Danish heritage.
