Landliebe is a traditional and highly recognized German dairy brand, originally founded in 1980 by the Campina cooperative. For several decades, it was a cornerstone of the Dutch-German dairy giant FrieslandCampina, marketed as a premium brand emphasizing natural ingredients and traditional farming methods. The brand is famous for its blue and white logo and its distribution of milk, yogurt, and butter across Central Europe.
In early 2023, a major strategic shift occurred when the Müller Group acquired most of FrieslandCampina's German consumer dairy business, including the Landliebe brand and several production sites. Today, Landliebe is operated under the umbrella of the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller, though it continues to maintain its identity as a producer of products sourced from regional German farms. Its manufacturing remains centered in Germany, particularly in the production facilities acquired during the recent merger.
