Dacia automobile

Dacia is a Romanian automotive manufacturer that has become a globally recognized brand for providing affordable and reliable vehicles. Founded in 1966 with the assistance of Renault, the company was initially named Uzina de Autoturisme Mioveni before adopting the Dacia name, derived from the historical region that constitutes much of present-day Romania.

Since 1999, Dacia has been a subsidiary of the French automotive giant Renault Group. This partnership transformed the brand into a key player in the European market, utilizing Renault's platforms and technology to produce budget-friendly models like the Logan, Sandero, and Duster. Today, while its historical heart remains in Mioveni, Romania, Dacia vehicles are also manufactured in significant facilities in North Africa to meet global demand.
