Over the decades, Patak's transitioned from a local shop to a global powerhouse in the ethnic food sector. Today, most of the global supply is manufactured in Leigh, Greater Manchester, which houses one of the largest curry paste factories in the world.

In 2007, the family-run business was acquired by Associated British Foods (ABF). Under ABF's ownership, Patak's has expanded its international footprint, maintaining its position as a household staple. The brand remains a key part of ABF's grocery division, continuing to produce traditional Indian flavors through modern manufacturing processes while adhering to the original quality standards set by the Pathak family.
