Victoria Beer

Victoria is widely recognized as Mexico's oldest beer brand, with a heritage dating back to 1865. It was originally established by Agustín Marendaz in Toluca, Mexico, as a craft brewing operation named Cervecería Toluca y México. The brand is a Vienna-style lager, a style introduced to the region by European immigrants in the 19th century and popularized during the Second Mexican Empire.

In 1935, the brand and its parent brewery were acquired by Grupo Modelo, which helped transform Victoria into a national staple. Today, the brand is part of the global portfolio of Anheuser-Busch InBev following its acquisition of Grupo Modelo in 2013. Despite its international ownership, Victoria remains deeply tied to its Mexican roots, with production continuing in major Mexican cities such as Toluca, Guadalajara, and Mexico City.
