In 2023, Johnson & Johnson spun off its consumer health business into a new independent company called Kenvue. Consequently, Kenvue is now the ultimate owner of the brand. While the brand originated in the United States, manufacturing is carried out at various specialized facilities worldwide, with a significant production hub for the European and British markets located in Italy.
