The Lomography LC-A+ is a cult classic 35mm film camera that is a direct descendant and successor to the original Soviet-era Lomo LC-A. The original brand and camera were created in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Russia, by the LOMO factory. After the brand's popularity exploded in the West during the 1990s, the Lomographic Society International (LSI) was formed to market and eventually take over the production.

While the original model was manufactured in Russia, the LC-A+ and most of the modern Lomography lineup are now produced in China to maintain large-scale accessibility. The brand is owned by the Lomographic Society International, which is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. It continues to be private and leads the global niche market for analog photography enthusiasts.
