Jaka Hakkebøffer canned meat

Jaka is a classic Danish brand with deep roots in the production of canned meat products. The brand was originally founded as Jysk Andels-Konservesfabrik (Jaka) in Brabrand, Denmark, in 1954. For decades, it was one of Denmark's largest meat processing cooperatives, particularly famous for its 'Jaka Bov' and various canned ready-meals.

Following several corporate shifts in the Danish meat industry, the brand became part of Tulip Food Company, which is owned by Danish Crown. Since 2019, Tulip Food Company (the Danish processing division) has operated under the brand name Danish Crown Food. Manufacturing of Jaka products continues to be centered in Denmark, leveraging the agricultural network of the Danish Crown cooperative, ensuring traditional recipes and quality are maintained under the flagship of one of Europe's largest meat producers.
