While the brand originated with the Finnish company Vaasan & Vaasan (later Vaasan Group), it is now under the ownership of Lantmännen, a major Swedish agricultural cooperative. Despite the Swedish ownership, the manufacturing remains rooted in Finland, primarily at the Kotka bakery, ensuring the authentic taste and quality associated with its Finnish heritage.
