Peugeot Paris Salt/Pepper Mill

The Peugeot Paris mill is an iconic piece of kitchenware known for its distinctive silhouette and high-quality mechanism. Originally founded in 1810 as a steel foundry, Peugeot began producing coffee and spice mills in France long before its foray into automobiles. The mills are still manufactured at the Peugeot Saveurs factory in Quingey, eastern France, where the wood is turned and the patented carbon steel grinding mechanism is assembled.

While the Peugeot automotive branch is now part of the Stellantis group, the kitchenware division (Peugeot Saveurs) is owned by the Peugeot family through their holding company, Etablissements Peugeot Frères. This ensures the brand remains deeply rooted in French artisanal tradition and family ownership.
