DS Automobiles

DS Automobiles is a French luxury vehicle brand that was established in 2009 as a premium sub-brand of Citroën before becoming a standalone brand in 2014. The brand name pays homage to the legendary Citroën DS, a revolutionary executive car produced between 1955 and 1975 that symbolized French industrial innovation and elegance.

Today, DS Automobiles is positioned as the high-end flagship of French automotive engineering, focusing on avant-garde design, high-quality materials, and cutting-edge technology. Most of its European models are manufactured at the Poissy plant in France or the Mulhouse plant, while vehicles for the Asian market are produced in Shenzhen, China.

In terms of ownership, DS Automobiles is part of the Stellantis group, one of the world's largest automotive corporations. Stellantis was formed in 2021 through the cross-border merger between the Italian-American Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the French PSA Group (Peugeot Société Anonyme). This structure places DS alongside other major global marques such as Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Peugeot within a diverse portfolio headquartered in the Netherlands.
