Lancia is a historic Italian automotive brand known for its elegance, innovation, and formidable history in rally racing. Founded in 1906 in Turin by Vincenzo Lancia and Claudio Fogolin, the brand became famous for introducing technical innovations such as the first unibody chassis and the first V4 engine. After decades of independence, the brand was acquired by Fiat in 1969.

Today, Lancia is undergoing a renaissance as a premium Italian brand within the Stellantis group. While its production was previously focused heavily on the Italian domestic market with the Ypsilon model, the brand is now expanding its lineup to include electric vehicles. Manufacturing is primarily centered in Europe, utilizing the shared modular platforms of its parent corporation to reach 2026 sustainability goals.
