Petrof piano

Petrof is one of Europe's most prestigious acoustic piano manufacturers, based in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. Founded in 1864 by Antonín Petrof, the company has survived significant historical shifts, including nationalization during the communist era under the Musicexport state monopoly before returning to the hands of the Petrof family in the early 21st century.

Today, Petrof remains a family-owned enterprise, currently led by the fifth and sixth generations of the Petrof family. The brand is renowned for its 'European sound' and artisanal craftsmanship, with the vast majority of its manufacturing still occurring in its original production facilities in the Czech Republic. It is recognized as a leader in the European piano industry, maintaining high standards of quality and traditional piano-building techniques.
