La Place Ristretto Koffiebonen

La Place Ristretto Koffiebonen are whole coffee beans specifically selected and roasted to create a full-bodied and intense ristretto or espresso. The La Place brand originated as a restaurant chain within the Dutch department store Vroom & Dreesmann (V&D), emphasizing fresh, organic, and artisanal products. Since its founding in 1987 in Utrecht, the brand has expanded beyond physical restaurants into retail, offering its signature products like coffee and sauces in supermarkets.

Following the bankruptcy of V&D in late 2015, the La Place brand was acquired by Jumbo Group Holding. While La Place operates as its own distinct entity with independent restaurants, its retail products are predominantly distributed through Jumbo supermarkets. The coffee is roasted and packaged in the Netherlands, maintaining the brand's commitment to local quality standards and sustainable sourcing through Rainforest Alliance certification.
