Lavazza Qualità Rossa is one of the most iconic coffee blends from the historic Italian coffee company Luigi Lavazza S.p.A. Founded in Turin in 1895, the brand has remained synonymous with Italian coffee culture for over a century.

Today, Lavazza remains a privately held family business, owned by the fourth generation of the Lavazza family. While it has grown into a global powerhouse with manufacturing facilities in France, India, and Brazil, the majority of its coffee roasting and capsule production—specifically for its core Italian blends like Qualità Rossa—still takes place at its primary facilities in Italy, such as the Settimo Torinese plant. The company has recently focused on sustainability, introducing carbon-neutral aluminum capsules compatible with Nespresso Original machines.
