Abba is a classic Swedish seafood brand, primarily known for its wide variety of pickled herring, kaviar, and seafood spreads. The brand's history dates back to 1838 when it was founded as 'Aktiebolaget Bröderna Ameln' (from which the acronym ABBA is derived) in Bergen, Norway, though the company quickly moved its operations to Sweden.

Today, the brand is strongly associated with Swedish culinary traditions, particularly the midsummer and Christmas tables. Production is centered in Kungshamn on the Swedish west coast, ensuring that the manufacturing remains close to the brand's heritage. Since 2013, the brand has been under the ownership of the Norwegian Orkla Group, following the merger of Abba Seafood and Procordia Food.
