Terry's Chocolate Orange milk

Terry's Chocolate Orange is an iconic British confectionery brand with a history dating back to 1767 in York, England. Originally created by the Joseph Terry & Sons company, the famous orange-shaped chocolate ball infused with real orange oil was first introduced in 1932.

While the brand is deeply rooted in British cultural heritage, production moved from York to continental Europe in 2005. Today, the product is primarily manufactured in Strasbourg, France. Ownership has changed hands several times, moving from Kraft Foods to Mondelēz International, before being acquired by the current owners.

As of 2024 and moving forward into 2026, the brand is owned by Carambar & Co, which is controlled by the investment firm Eurazeo. Despite the change in ownership and manufacturing location, the brand remains primarily marketed toward and beloved by the UK and Irish markets.
