Caffitaly System (also known as Caffita System) is an innovative espresso capsule technology that originated in Italy. Founded in 2004 by a group of entrepreneurs in Gaggio Montano, Bologna, the company focused on developing a proprietary semi-open system for coffee capsules that maintains high quality through a unique double-filter design.

While the engineering and design are rooted in Italian coffee culture, the physical manufacturing of the machines is primarily conducted in China through technical partnerships, while the coffee capsules themselves are often produced in Italy. The brand is currently owned by the investment firm Alpha Private Equity, which acquired a majority stake to foster its international growth and technological expansion into global markets.
