Karen Volf is a heritage Danish bakery brand founded in 1890 by Karen Volf herself. She became famous for her quality baked goods and eventually served as a purveyor to the Royal Danish Court. These French Waffles (Franske Vafler) with lemon cream are a classic part of the brand's extensive biscuit line. The product is manufactured in Denmark, specifically at their facilities such as the one in Stege on Møn, as indicated by the 'Bagt på Møn' logo on the packaging. Today, the brand is owned by Bisca A/S, which is a leading producer of biscuits and cakes in the Nordic region. In 2006, Bisca was acquired by the Norwegian investment firm Scandza, and later, the entire group came under the ownership of the Norwegian conglomerate Jordanes AS.
