Topo Athletic footwear

Topo Athletic is a performance footwear company founded by Tony Post, the former CEO of Vibram and a former executive at Rockport. The brand was established with a focus on blending the anatomical benefits of minimalist footwear—such as a wide toe box and low heel-to-toe drop—with the cushioning and support found in traditional athletic shoes.

Though a relatively young brand in the competitive athletic market, Topo has carved out a niche among trail runners and hikers. While the design and engineering take place in the United States, the manufacturing process is outsourced to specialized footwear facilities in Asia, specifically China and Vietnam. In late 2022, the brand was acquired to expand its global reach while maintaining its core design philosophy.
