Peppa Pig (Gurli Gris) Activity Book

Peppa Pig, known in Denmark as Gurli Gris, is a globally recognized media franchise that originated in the United Kingdom. The brand was created by Neville Astley, Mark Baker, and Phil Davies through Astley Baker Davies Ltd. It first aired on television in 2004 and quickly grew into a massive merchandising brand spanning toys, books, and clothing.

While the intellectual property was developed in the UK, the physical manufacturing of merchandise, especially items like this 'Legebog' (activity book) which includes plastic figurines, is primarily outsourced to China. The franchise has seen several changes in corporate ownership; it was acquired by Entertainment One (eOne), which was then purchased by the American toy giant Hasbro. In late 2023, Hasbro completed the sale of eOne's film and TV business to Lionsgate, but Hasbro retains the ownership of the Peppa Pig brand itself as a core franchise.
