Marshall is a legendary brand in the music industry, iconic for its guitar amplifiers used by the world's greatest rock musicians. Originally founded in London in 1962 by Jim Marshall, the brand became synonymous with high-quality sound and classic design.

Starting in 2010, the brand expanded into consumer electronics through a long-term licensing partnership with the Swedish company Zound Industries, which developed and manufactured Marshall-branded headphones and speakers. In 2023, Zound Industries officially acquired the Marshall family's stake to form the Marshall Group. While the brand carries British heritage and design ethics, the consumer electronics line, including the Emberton speaker shown, is predominantly manufactured in China to leverage global supply chains. The Marshall Group remains headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
